Council/component Meetings are held twice a year, during the Annual Meeting and in September.  They are attended by APA Council and Committee members.  This meeting gives council/committee members the opportunity to discuss important issues and draft policies.  Corresponding members may attend, however, they are responsible for all of their expenses, including travel and housing.

Housing
The official hotel for the September Meeting is the JW Marriott.  Corresponding members are welcome to attend the September Meeting; however, you are not authorized, by APA, to receive travel and hotel reimbursement. The room rate for 2009 at the JW Marriott is $201.00.
                                        
When making housing arrangements, you will be required to enter credit card information on the form, as well as, present a credit card at check-in.

    * Go To “Search Available Rooms” on the Form

    * Click onto the drop-down list and select a group.  
        Note that there are several specific groups listed.  
        If you do not belong to any of them click APA member.

    * Choose your Check-In and number of guests per room.

    * To cancel your reservation click onto “Already Have A Reservation” 
        and type in your last name and confirmation number.  

    * Under “Would You Like To", click either: 
          "View this reservation"
          "Modify this reservation"   or 
          "Cancel this reservation".

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION INFORMATION: 
If you are not able to attend the meeting, after making sleeping room reservations, you must go online and cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to your check-in, otherwise your credit card will be charged for the first night.


Travel
