Access and Technology Requirements
Participant Access: The APA Psychotherapy Rounds Online website and listserv discussion forums are limited to current APA members. Access requires a valid membership number and password.
The APA Psychotherapy Rounds Online is a member benefit developed by the APA Division of Education and Career Development. For more information about other APA activities for residents and fellows, go to the APA's Resident page.
Website and Listserv Computer Requirements: Participants will need a personal computer (PC, either IBM, Apple, or IBM- or Apple-compatible) with Internet access, browser software, and a valid e-mail address.
The APA Psychotherapy Rounds Online is designed to work with most types of internet browsers (such as Netscape and Explorer), operating systems (such as Windows, Macintosh, and Unix), and e-mail software programs (such as Outlook and Lotus Notes).
Recommended minimum system requirements include a Pentium 166 computer or better, 32MB of memory, 28.8Kbps modem or better, an Internet service provider (ISP), Internet Browser (for example: MS Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL 5.0).
Some documents may require Adobe Acrobat Reader software be loaded on the participant's computer in order to access the information. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software. Click here to download the most current version.
Participants are encouraged to have some type of virus scan software loaded on the computer they will use to participate on the listserv, and to make sure the software is updated periodically.
Opt-Out or Change Listserv Options: Participants may choose not to receive APA Psychotherapy Rounds Online listserv forum e-mails by (a) following the "unsubscribe" instructions in the specific e-mail from which you wish to opt-out, or (b) sending an e-mail to majordomo@lists2.psych.org, specifying the particular forum topic(s) from which you wish to be removed or if you want to be removed from the APA Psychotherapy Rounds Online program entirely. In addition, you may request to receive the forum digests by following by (a) following the "digest" instructions in the specific welcome e-mail from the forum which you wish to change, or (b) sending an e-mail to majordomo@lists2.psych.org, specifying the particular forum topic(s) which you wish to receive in digest format.
APA will respond to a request made via these methods as promptly as practicable. Please do not post your "unsubscribe" or "digest" messages to the forum.
