DSM-V Planning Conference Series Monographs
The research conference series monographs listed below were jointly supported by generous funding from the National Institutes of Health, including the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. These monographs document the ongoing efforts of the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education in providing an empirical research base to support revisions in the forthcoming fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. The conference series, which came to a close in February 2008, played a key role in establishing the evidence base for DSM-V, and these volumes represent the hard work and contribution of its participants.
