Dr. Reynolds directs the National Institute of Mental Health–sponsored Advanced Center for Interventions and Services Research in Late-Life Mood Disorders and the John A. Hartford Center of Excellence in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. The themes of his research program encompass the prevention of depression in old age, treatment algorithms for difficult-to-treat mood disorders in later life, and dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices for depression treatment in underserved populations.
