Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Womack is an academic child psychiatrist with diverse clinical experience across the spectrum of childhood and adolescent disorders. As former chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, he has extensive administrative experiences, with responsibility for developing and directing new clinical programs in the academic setting, and being physician manager for quality improvement efforts within the context of a juvenile offender state program. Dr. Womack has been active for many years in the governance structure of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is an advocate for children and adolescents; juvenile offenders; lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgendered; and racial and ethnic minorities.
