The major changes to the CPT codes in effect as of January 1, 2013 in the Psychiatry section of the American Medical Association’s manual on Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) must be used for billing and documentation for all insurers for all services as of January 1, 2013.
We encourage everyone to purchase the latest edition of AMA's CPT manual, available through the American Medical Association's online bookstore or by phone 800-621-8335. 2013 and later versions contain the newest codes, the earlier versions do not.
